We had a 12 day break in between pdays, so now we have 2 pdays pretty much back to back! On Saturday we went to a beautiful lagoon on a boat tour with our branch president!! It was SO fun to get some sun and be on the ocean!

These 12 days have felt verrry long.  We have had a lot of good things happen though.  We have a new friend named Cherry! She is filipina and is adorable, but sometimes says scary things haha. She really wants to change her life and be a better person, it is very inspiring.  

Our friend Victus from Nigeria was supposed to get baptized this coming Saturday but he isn't going to be ready in time:( We are optimistic about the beginning of September though!! He is awesome and will be ready as soon as he can get work off for sundays more often!! 

My companion and I had a battle with all of the insects that have taken over one of our apartments. Yesterday we cleaned with vinegar for almost 5 hours. When we saw on google that these bugs can bite through sealed bags we were laugh/crying thinking about how many worms we have probably eaten. No harm in a little extra protein, right Dad?

President told us the dates we will be going home and I am SAD about it hahaha!! I cannot imagine not being a missionary. The time has absolutely flown by and I am so determined to make the most out of the next 4 months.

A little miracle this week:  One day we were headed home after a long day of canceled lessons. We hadn't brought any food with us to Paphos (our other area) and our dinner lesson had canceled. We stopped at McDonalds on the way home and I decided not to get a sandwich. I regretted it when we got home and as soon as I said "I wish I got a sandwich" my companion reached into the bag and pulled out two!! They must have given us an extra! It sounds silly, but I really felt God's love and awareness for me in that moment!

Look unto Him in every thought, doubt not, fear not!
