Hi!! Another week has gone by, great and busy as ever!! I am seriously so exhausted I crash at like 915 every night. The best type of tired though!


The highlight of the week was church for sure. I will give you the run down.

Half way through the passing of the sacrament our favorite drunk old man got up and asked with exasperation, "BISHOP, WHEN CAN I SHARE MY TESTIMONY?" The Bishop told him from the other side of the room that he had to wait. He responded by saying that he had JUST read in Alma and loved it and needed to share NOW. A few minutes later he graciously apologized to the congregation and took a seat.  When it was time to share testimonies he walked up to the pulpit and started boldy declaring the truths of the gospel. Unfortunately he forgot his book, but that's ok because he just kept on talking while he walked back to his seat and grabbed the book. He returned with more energy than ever before haha. He had his book in one hand and was raising his other fist in the air declaring loudly and slowly that this is the true church and that the book of Mormon is awesome. Amen brother.

The best part about church was that our friends came!! We were pretty worried that the wild testimony meeting would scare them away, but afterwards our friend Liv told us that she felt something she had never felt before. My heart!

Long story short, I got acrylic nails this week because one of our YSAs we are trying to bond with needed hand volunteers at nail school. But they were SO long. I kinda panicked when I couldn't even take out my contacts and chopped them off with nail clippers. So now I have some real jenky nails for the next few weeks. Pictures below:)

A great quarantine week! -Stunning hike @Bovila -I went back to Berat for DONA'S baptism!   She is such a light and I admire her so so much.   -Online lesson with Aina who is getting baptized on Saturday!! Quarantine has been really good;  staying obedient even in hard situations brings SHUMË blessings. We have literally seen miracles this week. I feel so close to Heavenly Father, even though I sometimes feel very far from my family and loved ones! Halloween Miracles

November 1, 2021 Hi:) if you're reading this please know I miss you! What a wonderful and beautifully chaotic week.  5 funny things that happened this week: 1- We were force-fed a TON of sauerkraut in a lesson.  2-Pierced my companions ears parent trap style. 3-Dressed up as an elder for Halloween and I will not be sending the pictures.. 4-ate CHILI and CORNBREAD and PUMPKIN BREAD. Rroftë Amerika  5- assisted in chopping another sisters hair short and then spent a while trying to even it up haha. We had a beautiful pday in the south of albania today!! And then spent a few hours getting baking instructions yelled at us in albanian by a cute grandma. The day flew by so forgive the short email!!  We had some miraculous lessons this week!!  In a lesson with our new friend and her husband (he is a member who hasn't come in a very long time), she expressed desire to get taught the lessons so she can decide about baptism and he decided he wants to take the steps necess...

Work for the Blessings...Am I Right?

November 9, 2020  Hii!! I felt so happy to be a missionary this week, so many good things happened! We are teaching a young mom right now, Dona. We invited Dona to church and told her we would walk with her. When we showed up to her house on Sunday she had brought her mom and sons!! After, on the way home she told us that she wanted to be baptized, like really soon. It was amazing!! One of my favorite things about teaching people the gospel is watching the Spirit change their demeanor. You can see a light in their eyes. I LOVE IT. At a lesson with our neighbors this week (!!!) a lady gave me some green olives and olive oil. Yum right? Mm well, green olives straight off the tree are nottt edible. And i learned that a few weeks ago harvesting olives when I tried one! So. I ate the supppper bitter olive and smiled through the pain.
