Hi hi hi
Great, busy week!! We had zone conference over zoom, jeez I miss meetings in person hahaha.
On weds we went to Korça and had an exchange which was super fun. Sister Bezzant and Sister Johnson are the best. Annnnd it was super snowy and cold down there, felt like home!! Because Korça is so far, we spent two nights and left early fri morning. Last time I had an exchange with Johnson was during our training transfers and we had no idea what we were doing haha. It was soo fun to be serving together again for a day and see how much more we love our missions and Albania in general now.
This week Aina brought her skateboard to our lesson. We were walking to get a treat and I decided to use her skateboard. In my mind it seemed like a great idea! Throwback to my (approximately 14) skate days at BYU.. Anyways, I ate it HARD. The type of fall where your face hits the pavement before your hands. Hahaha it was so funny. I tried to redeem myself afterwards but Aina wouldnt let me near her skateboard. Maybe next week.
We finally made an instagram page for Albania!! Eeee! It has been a long time coming but we finally did it. I know that we are gonna start seeing a lot of success with the facebook and insta pages. Super exciting.
The SUN CAME OUT IN TIRANA this week!! While I love the rain, it was about time.
Yesterday we met the elders and a few friends/members at all 3 churches in our area for sacrament, and it was so fun. There really is no better part of a mission than meeting Albanians. They really are the best people.
At district council I made everyone try Diet Coke, Coke Zero and normal Coca Cola. I was getting worried I wouldnt be able to discern my beloved DC from the others, but turns out it's not hard to pick treasure from trash hahaha.
D&C 14:9
Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, who created the heavens and the earth, a light which cannot be hid in darkness;
Everything around us denotes that there is a supreme and divine creator! Christ truly is a light that can never be conquered I have been trying to live and love little moments lately and to appreciate the light of Christ which is all around us.
