Last week in Albania🇦🇱🇨🇾

BIG NEWS 

After 9 months I am getting transferred out of my beloved Tirana 1 and 3 wards.  And I am actually getting transferred out of Albania and into Cyprus WHAT! Cyprus imall island about 800 miles away and is classified as a middle eastern country.  It is the ⁹closest country to the holy land that missionaries are serving in. (!!!) The island is split between Turkey and Greece therefore the official languages are greek and turkish,,, not Albanian lol. I will be serving around missionaries that I have only met on zoom!! I fly out by myself on wednesday morning. I dont know what to expect because I am the first Albanian speaker to be transferred into a greek speaking area.  I am a little nervous but mostly SO excited for the next few months.
My visa will only last for 90 days so I will definitely be back in Albania for at least 1 transfer before I come home to Salt Lake.

Saying goodbyes this week has been really hard!! These people feel like family and I am definitely leaving a chunk of my heart  here.  Luckily I got to ball out one last time  with the Priests Quorum in futboll and had a lotttt of yummy member meals!! 

A lot of miracles this week, Redon got baptized!! And so many of the less active members we have been working with came to church! A very happy final sunday.

This last week has been stressful for me but during the missionaries final testimonies I felt like the Lord was speaking directly to me.  I'm grateful for His direction in my life!!

December 21, 2020  Hellooo everyone! A great quarantine week! -Stunning hike @Bovila -I went back to Berat for DONA'S baptism!   She is such a light and I admire her so so much.   -Online lesson with Aina who is getting baptized on Saturday!! Quarantine has been really good;  staying obedient even in hard situations brings SHUMË blessings. We have literally seen miracles this week. I feel so close to Heavenly Father, even though I sometimes feel very far from my family and loved ones! Halloween Miracles

November 1, 2021 Hi:) if you're reading this please know I miss you! What a wonderful and beautifully chaotic week.  5 funny things that happened this week: 1- We were force-fed a TON of sauerkraut in a lesson.  2-Pierced my companions ears parent trap style. 3-Dressed up as an elder for Halloween and I will not be sending the pictures.. 4-ate CHILI and CORNBREAD and PUMPKIN BREAD. Rroftë Amerika  5- assisted in chopping another sisters hair short and then spent a while trying to even it up haha. We had a beautiful pday in the south of albania today!! And then spent a few hours getting baking instructions yelled at us in albanian by a cute grandma. The day flew by so forgive the short email!!  We had some miraculous lessons this week!!  In a lesson with our new friend and her husband (he is a member who hasn't come in a very long time), she expressed desire to get taught the lessons so she can decide about baptism and he decided he wants to take the steps necess...

Work for the Blessings...Am I Right?

November 9, 2020  Hii!! I felt so happy to be a missionary this week, so many good things happened! We are teaching a young mom right now, Dona. We invited Dona to church and told her we would walk with her. When we showed up to her house on Sunday she had brought her mom and sons!! After, on the way home she told us that she wanted to be baptized, like really soon. It was amazing!! One of my favorite things about teaching people the gospel is watching the Spirit change their demeanor. You can see a light in their eyes. I LOVE IT. At a lesson with our neighbors this week (!!!) a lady gave me some green olives and olive oil. Yum right? Mm well, green olives straight off the tree are nottt edible. And i learned that a few weeks ago harvesting olives when I tried one! So. I ate the supppper bitter olive and smiled through the pain. Then she told me to drink the olive oil.  Did you know that drinking olive oil keeps you safe from Covid? Me neither. It was an interesting lesson to ...
