Goat Liver

July 19 2021

Hi!💜

So many good things this week.

My favorite scripture this week was Enos 4:
4 And my soul hungered; and I kneeled down before my Maker, and I cried unto him in mighty prayer and supplication for mine own soul; and all the day long did I cry unto him; yea, and when the night came I did still raise my voice high that it reached the heavens.

The first thing I love about this is "my soul hungered". Sometimes I think we crave spirituality and we dont even know it. It is so important to nourish our souls because we are first and foremost spirits who miss out Heavenly Parents.

I also love at the end when Enos tells us that his voice "reached the heavens". I have a testimony that when we pray with purpose, our voices are truly heard in Heaven.

Sister Johnson and I laughed through this whole week, espeeeecially one lunch wherr we got traditional food.  I could have sworn that "Tave Dheu" was amazing. Turns out it was not. It is goat liver. Sorry Sister J.  Shouldn't have let you take that big bite, I owe ya.

One morning on our run we were about to turn back when I had to go to the bathroom and it became apparent I was not going to make it home in time. We asked the first person we saw to use their bathroom!! He was a nice old man who let us use the bathroom, introduced us to his neighbors, and then felt so bad he didnt have any food or drinks to give us. Albanians are the most welcoming and loving people on earth.

I love love love you all
