A Better Weekly Haha

February 15 2021

Heyoo!

Great week woo!  Anderson and I packed up our apartment completely on tuesday morning. I moved all my stuff to an apartment on the other side of Tirana.  Then Wednesday morning  I moved back to my original apartment haha. We have decided we will switch back and forth every few days! It is like a 1.5 hr walk between apartments so it's nice to be able to crash at our "weekend crib" whenever we need hahaha.

Sister Davis is great, she is my first companion who eats as fast/as much as me. She is super hyped about the facebook page and I'm excited to see where it goes! She has less than 2 transfers left but is still on fire. Wooooo!

So I realize my weekly emails lack substance, and I'm gonna make this longer and explain more about what we are doing!!  I have been in Tirana for 3 months now, and I've been serving in the first and third wards here. There are 4 wards here and they are part of the only stake in Albania! Unfortunately we have been doing online church the whole time I've been in Tirana, which is a bummer because there are soo many people I havent met yet and most members can't join a zoom church because they dont have internet:(. But we are hoping church will open soon!! 🤞🤞 Davis and I are now over the 1-4 wards+kombinat because we are short on missionaries (get your papers in people!!teehee) but it has been really really good.

Aina's dad has given her permission yet again to get baptized!! Her date is March 12, and we are PRAYING it will go through! She is going through some tricky teenage years and she reallyyy need this.  We had a lesson with Kristi, a 20 year old who is sooo sarcastic I could hang with her all day. She is on date for April 2!! We are teaching some amazing people and I learn so much from them every week.

In a lesson with Motra Gura (amazing member in Kombinat), she told us about how she was pulled out of school in 8th grade and was always so sad about it. So when she was 35 she went back to school and is now a teacher! She told us "it is never too late" and I loved that so much.   It's never too late to change.

Yesterday I felt the spirit so strongly during sacrament.  While online church is SO ROUGH, it has really put into perspective the importance of the sacrament!  The Savior really carries us.

Oo also it snowed this week!! God sent us snow on Valentines Day! First time in lime forever here haha.  Also a year ago I got my mission call! Wild.

Jeta eshte e bukur, ju dua xoxoxoxo
